The spring of 2009 offered an unusually abundant display of bloom in Northern California. From the almond orchards north of Sacramento, to the mustard fields of the wine country, and the incredible bloom along Highway 140 in the Merced River Canyon - our landscape was painted with a sea of color. Our very wet spring which followed a hard fire season in the summer of 2008 has given us this gift.
